Falling Rock Quarry

Falling Rock Quarry, also known as Clark's Quarry, is in La Grange, Ky.  From Louisville take I-71 north to exit 22.  At the end of the ramp, make a left and go into town.  At the second 4-way stop sign, make a left and go a couple blocks to 4th Ave.  Follow 4th about 2 miles to the quarry's entrance, which is marked by a dive flag sign.  Normal season is from Memorial Day weekend until the last weekend of October.  However, we make frequent private outings here during the off season.

Conditions on 27 Apr 2002 - vis 30 feet above 25 ffw wt 55 / vis less than 3 ft below 25 ffw  wt 47

This winter vis has been below normal - lowest wt was 41 F well above winter low temps.
